Founded in 2010, HIP Developments is a Waterloo Region–based real estate developer guided by a belief that our role extends beyond building buildings to helping build cities. We see cities as the habitat of the human spirit—places that foster connection, inspire change, and grow in importance as communities seek belonging and shared purpose.
While we develop residential and mixed-use spaces, we also create public places, support art and storytelling, encourage community dialogue, and invest in initiatives that celebrate Waterloo Region’s legacy of innovation. When we say we are Building More Than Real Estate, we mean we are committed to shaping connected, vibrant communities social, cultural, and physical.
